The job description for Banc assurance staff is as follows.
Job Requisites :
1. Very close liaison with insurance company /Bank Branches and staff
2. Thorough knowledge of insurance products of different companies
3. Visit potential customers for new business
4. Provide customers with quotations
5. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
6. Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends
7. Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
8. Identify new markets and business opportunities
9. Record sales and send copies to the management at regular intervals.
10. Excellent communication skills both in English and Swahili
11. A confident and determined approach
12. Resilience - and the ability to cope with rejection
13. Self-motivation and drive
14. A competitive streak
15. view his own sales performance vis a vis the budgets
Graduate with an insurance deploma
Should have worked for the similar assignment with banks or experience in the services of insurance companies in sales front.
